Tompkins Bend Campgrounds

Tompkins Bend is a Class “A” U.S. Corps of Engineers Campground on Lake Ouachita with 77 campsites that have concrete tables, ground grills, pedestal grills, lantern posts and lots of shade trees and a New children’s playground.
Other amenities include potable water on all sites with some 50 amp sites available.

Flush toilets, Showers, boat ramp, amphitheater, trailer dump station, fish cleaning station, trails, playground, pavilion are located with the park.

The Sangri-La Resort is adjacent to Tompkins Bend and has a new playground completed!

A minor timber sale by the C.O.E. will be conducted at the Tompkins Bend Recreation Area boat ramp
in the fall of 2017 to expand the current parking by approximately 15-20 spaces.

A full-service marina and boat rentals are nearby at the Shangri-La Resort.

Tompkins Bend is located on the southwest end of Lake Ouachita.
