Lake Ouachita 2017-2018 Fall Closure/Spring Re-Open campground schedule is as follows:
Stephens Park: Open, Camping fees collected by uniformed Rangers or deposited in honor fee vault
Crystal Springs: Open, camping fees collected by uniformed rangers or deposited in honor vault from September 26, 2017-April 30, 2018
Denby Point: Open, Camping fees collected by uniformed Rangers or deposited in honor fee vault from September 26, 2017-April 30, 2018
Twin Creek: Open, camping fees collected by uniformed Rangers or deposited in honor fee vault.
Brady Mountain: Closed October 1, 2017 and will re-open March 1, 2018
Joplin: Closed November 1, 2017 and will re-open March 1, 2018
Tompkins Bend: Closed November 1, 2017 and will re-open March 1, 2018
Little Fir: Open, camping fees will be collected by uniformed Rangers or deposited in the honor fee vault. On November 1, 2017, free camping; water and electrical service will be turned off and restrooms closed, no services will be provided in the campground area. Will re-open March 1, 2018
Big Fir, Washita, Irons Fork, Avant, Buckville, Rabbit Tail, will all be open, but NO services will be provided in the recreation areas after October 1, 2017
Cedar Fourche will be open, but NO services provided after November 1, 2017.
